The Atmosphere-Ocean Dynamics Group is a research group located within the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge. Together with the Atmospheric Chemistry group in the Department of Chemistry, it constitutes the Centre for Atmospheric Science.
Research in this group focuses on the fluid dynamical problems involved in understanding our chemical-climatic environment. For more details of what we do, please look at our research page.
- PhD Opportunities
We welcome new PhD students. Potential supervisors in our group include Prof. Peter Haynes, Prof. Michael McIntyre and Dr. John Taylor. Students interested in doing a PhD in our group should take a look at the Research Opportunities page.
